Natasha Makhijani
Founder & Group CEO

Natasha Makhijani leads the interim board practice. A seasoned recruitment expert with a master’s degree from DePaul University in Chicago. Her unwavering ambition and dedication to outstanding performance resulted in over 20-years of a successful career setting up Executive Desks for top firms.  

Natasha’s desire for something more led her to launch her own business. In true bootstrap style, what started as one lady and a laptop has now expanded to a global company, Oliver Sanderson Group PLC. 

Her journey as an entrepreneur shaped her into a vibrant and enthusiastic leader determined to shake up the recruitment industry and contribute towards the acceleration of women in leadership.  Alongside tackling broader D&I challenges with clients, Natasha is passionate about addressing issues on race equality, especially in recruitment shortlisting.

To take Natasha’s journey further, she is the first Asian female to co-found and launch a global mobile job app & Video Interviewing platform with AI for the search market called Snapp CV and Snapp InView.  Snapp is the first in the world for voice technology enabling the command ‘Find me a job’ via Amazon Alexa.  To complement this, Olivier Sanderson has recently launched an Executive App for the interim and permanent search arena.

Natasha’s passion for interim and executive search and her knowledge of digital recruitment solutions makes her unique in the marketplace as an accomplished leader.  Through her strong reputation in the sector, Natasha has been appointed as a founder member and co-chair of APSCo (The Association of Professional Staffing Companies), allowing her the opportunity to further represent excellence in the professional recruitment industry.

Marijia Simovic
NED, Board Advisor

Marija brings with her a wealth of experience from the operational and commercial side of the business with an incredible career spanning over 25 years. Her more notable experiences included appearing on Channel 4’s Undercover Boss, whilst CEO of Harry Ramsdens.

 

Marija has held several senior roles including COO of YODEL, MD of Nuffield Health and Director of Operations of YUM Restaurants International, which incorporated the KFC brand in the UK. She has also had stellar experiences with International Airlines Group (IAG) and is currently working with Alvarez & Marsal. She specialises in the operational, supply chain, and change management experience at the C-suite level and has extensive experience in the retail, healthcare, transportation, logistics, and airline sectors.

 

Marija currently works very closely with Natasha and the Board to help Oliver Sanderson through this very exciting time of transition, delivering on the convergence of our software offering with our traditional search practices.

After an early HR and General Management career in Transportation and Manufacturing, Susie held one of the largest HR leadership roles in the world with responsibility for 30 countries in EMEA, more than 100,000 people, and global responsibility (60 countries) for talent management. She has a track record of delivery impacting all countries across the EMEA region and globally. Relentlessly driven with world-class standards, Susie has worked with top experts in the HR/OD field.

 

Susie has been described as a captivating presenter and communicator with a reputation for leading large-scale successful transformation, highly commercial HR functions, and developing the potential of others through expertise in talent management and leadership development.
